Drift Net / Hard Maple
$270.00

A handcrafted fly fishing landing net - built for the water, designed to live beautifully at home.

The Drift Net is a small-batch, handcrafted landing net made for anglers and river-minded homes that value natural materials, visible craft, and objects meant to last. It’s balanced in the hand on the water and considered in its finish, so it feels just as at home leaning on a wall or hanging between seasons.

Each net is made one at a time, photographed individually, and shipped exactly as shown.

Design & Use

The Drift Net is designed to adapt to how you fish and where you fish - mountain creeks, tailwaters, and everything in between.

The hoop flexes where it needs to while staying rigid where it counts. The handle draws inspiration from traditional axe design, with a pronounced endpoint and sweeping curve that lets you know exactly where it ends without looking. That same curve slides easily into a net holster, tucks cleanly behind a pack, and rests naturally in the hand when a fish comes to net.

We shaped the handle with an oval cross-section so it indexes instinctively in your grip. Where the handle meets the hoop, the profile flows inward in a subtle concave transition that guides your hand to exactly where it should be.

The net bag is rubber mesh, gentle on fish, durable in use, and resistant to water absorption. It’s secured with braided polyethylene cord in moss green, chosen for its strength, longevity, and a touch of color that feels right against wood and water.

Choosing Well

Each net is photographed individually so you know exactly what you’re choosing. Variations in grain, tone, and character are part of the material itself—not imperfections. We take care to represent every piece honestly, so you can choose with confidence knowing the net you receive is the one you see here.

These nets are finished for durability and long-term use. Scratches, dings, sun-darkened wood, and wear from time in hand are expected over time. That patina isn’t damage, it’s the record of where you’ve been.

Each net is photographed individually and shipped exactly as shown.

Our Studio

We're Ethan and Amanda—a husband and wife working from our studio in North Carolina. What we create connects us to the places we go and the people we share life with. What started as a simple desire to create became something deeper: a practice of slowing down, honoring the seasons we're in, and making work that holds meaning beyond itself. Whether it's time on the water or moments around the table, we craft objects that become part of your story.
